This unique retreat is about cultivating well-being through movement and insight. Combining Vinyasa Flow (yoga) with stress relief practice developed by the renowned Yoga for the Mind you will learn how to heal yourself from the inside through meditation and scientifically sound yogic practices.

In the morning you will have the mind-body practice and stress relief based on Yoga Therapy combined with Vinyasa Flow. You will practice techniques that quickly re-balance your nervous system for the alleviation of both short term and long term stress while developing personal awareness of the body and the mind.

In the evening you will flow with Vinyasa yoga practices, the gentle and dynamic yoga to help you release tension from your body, while building strength and flexibility.

In the meantime there will be swimming in the pool/river and sightseeing activities to nourish your mind and feed your heart.

Each day you will be exploring the wonderful Spanish landscape and surroundings of vibrant and unique Madrid.

You will practice yoga outdoors in a garden of the villa where you are going to stay. You will have a chance to walk along the river, sighting the Roman ruins near by the property.

During the day, between the morning and evening yoga sessions you will have free time to peacefully immerse in the nature surrounding the property. You can rest or choose between the range of optional excursions to take if you would like to explore more the local aera. You will have a pleasure of staying by the  pool of the property and rest/sunbath in a  wonderful garden with pergolas. You will be treated with a delicious fresh and healthy home made food prepared in the moment.

ORGANISERS/TEACHERS:

MARIA – Property’s owner, retreats coordinator, yoga teacher, yoga accessories designer, originally from Spain, lives in London and works in finance. Maria is making a career change into full time yoga teacher.

JOANNA – is an aerialist, contemporary dancer, pilates, yoga/antygravity yoga teacher and yoga therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety based in London. She leads international workshops, trainings and retreats.
With 15 years of experience in different yoga styles (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow), pilates and contemporary dance she developed a yoga dance. It incorporates flowing like Vinyasa movement that focuses on core strength, flexibility and dance to allow for self-expression, body toning and deeply connection between body and mind. As a Yoga Therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety trained with Minded Insitute, she incorporates other techniques to stimulate the body and mind, such as: yoga dance, pilates and free/flow/improvised movement to release the stress and calm down the nervous system. About the Property

The 500m2 house is situated on a 2000 meters plot. It has an access to a stoning private garden with a pergola in the porch area and a barbecue area with a large private pool. The house is made of two living rooms with fireplaces, 4 shared bedrooms with single and double beds and a beautiful kitchen with fireplace. The WIFI is available and cars parking.

El Molino de la Hoz is a residential community located at the end of Las Rozas de Madrid, in the northwest of the Community of Madrid (Spain). It is located in the northwestern end of that municipality, on the border with Torrelodones and Galapagar, in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama, at the foot of the port of Galapagar. The place is crossed by the Guadarrama river, which runs along the vertical north-south.

El Molino de la Hoz has important environmental values. Free residential areas, mainly the banks of the Guadarrama river, are legally protected through the Regional Park of the middle of the Guadarrama river and its surroundings.

In the historical and artistic terrain, urbanization is located near the dam of El Gasco, which was built in the eighteenth century as a regulating reservoir unfinished Guadarrama channel. In its vicinity Retamar Bridge, which was built in the same century as a work conditioning Camino Real de Castilla it is located.
